The rear wall of the niche has textured, perhaps fluted or ribbed, paneling with built-in warm backlighting, giving off a peaceful glow around the deity. Decorative trim adorns the archway, and two traditional-style hanging lanterns are placed on each side of the deity.

  • Luxurious Seating Arrangement: There are two huge, white curved sofas tastefully placed around a glass-top coffee table and a small, white round coffee table. This arrangement encourages communication and has ample space for formal sitting. The application of soft material contributes to comfort and luxury.
  • Traditional Persian or Indian Red and Gold Ornate Rug: A stunning red and gold ornate traditional Persian or Indian rug underpins the seating area, adding rich color and detailed pattern that looks wonderful against the lighter flooring and walls. This is a feature found in most large Indian houses.

  • Shower Area:
  • The central shower area is a feature, housed by a curving wall, to form a clear wet zone. The tiling of the wall in the shower area is composed of light and dark marble patterning, for visual appeal and refinement. The horizontal dark band provides a design highlight. Contemporary fixtures such as a rainfall showerhead and a handheld shower are apparent. A wall-hung toilet is neatly located in the shower area, another classic space-saving practice for contemporary bathrooms. There is also a conventional Indian-type squat toilet
  • incorporated into an electronica-dark, perhaps granite or dark marble, platform on the left. It is quite typical in Indian homes to provide for differing tastes and is frequently encountered in guest bathrooms.
  • Vanity/Washbasin Area:
  • To its right is a small washbasin with a design, perhaps a wall sink or pedestal sink. Above the mirror is a light fixture positioned for ease of access. Complementary tiling is also on the wall behind the basin, continuing the overall design language.
  • Laundry Area :
  • Of special note on the left, immediately inside the doorway, is a washing machine.
