Project Name - Badal Pradhan
Theme - Ground Floor Lobby Interior
Central Location and Accessibility: The subject is located centrally and from where various doorways and openings in the structure offer access to other rooms. This emphasizes its position as a central connecting space.
To the left, by way of an ornate arched entrance, we see a magnificent living room (previously analyzed from other perspectives). There's a rich red rug, white velvet sofas, and an upper balcony that folds into a double-height ceiling.
To the right, through another equally ornate arched doorway, we move into a formal dining room (previously analyzed), with a huge white dining table, traditional chairs, and large windows.
Straight ahead, two wooden doors point towards greater private space, maybe bedrooms or a study. The traditional and sturdy design of these doors.
Architectural Arches: The wide and prominent arches are an intrinsic part of this lobby. They bring a sense of grandeur and roominess, plus classical Indian architectural beauty, as they visually separate yet connect the various functional spaces.
Flooring Design: The extensively polished light-colored marble or large-format tiles are in the center, with darker, contrasting marble borders along the edges and defining the paths leading into the rooms. This complex flooring design creates luxury and visual direction.
Wall Treatments and Lighting:
The walls are typically painted in a light neutral color, which doesn't compete with the architectural elements.
Classical sconces are also positioned purposefully along walls to have both ambiance and to add decoration.
